For 27 years, under the leadership of Overseer Betty B. Anderson, Jesus is the Way of Life Ministries International has spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations.  Overseer Anderson has been in ministry for 39 years, and her priority is the ministry of the Word.  She was ordained for the ministry at the Historic Springfield Baptist Church in Augusta, GA.  Overseer Anderson has ordained twelve(12) ministers of the gospel, including Senior Pastor Medinah Pope of Jesus is the Way of Life Ministries International.   She gives ministry oversight to several churches, including Divine Vision(Augusta, GA,) Jesus Miracles (Haiti and Dominican Republic,) God’s Anointed Prison Ministry (Augusta, GA,) Motivated by Love (Greenville, NC), and Blessings Global (Augusta, GA). 

Overseer, as she is affectionately called, has a passion for outreach and serving exemplified by organizing and executing park crusades, prison outreach, peach camp services for migrant workers, teaching youth and adult literacy, and providing substance abuse and family counseling.   Most recently, her leadership efforts have focused on pandemic relief and support.  A natural teacher and leader, Overseer Anderson taught 33 years in the public schools of Augusta, GA and was a private owner of Green’s Florist for sixty years.  She loves teaching the Word and was a weekly host  for nearly a decade on a local radio show promoting Christian spiritual growth.  Currently, Overseer Anderson leads weekly online worship services via Zoom and Facebook Live.  In addition to services through Jesus is the Way of Life Ministries International, she also co-hosts “A Proceeding Prophetic Word” which airs weekly.     

Overseer Anderson expects the Holy Spirit to manifest with signs, miracles and wonders as God’s Word goes forth.  It is her belief and experience  that people get saved, delivered and filled with the Holy Spirit. There is hope for the world and His name is Jesus who said, “ I am the Way, the Truth and the Life…” John 14:6.
